Features

Glazing

  • The Privé range integrates seamlessly with Clip44 Glazing Adaptors for aesthetic consistency when used alongside glazed panels.

  • Optional use of bevelled beads and glazing sill rails (e.g., W14108 and W26151 profiles).

  • Designed to accommodate laminated or safety glass in combination panels, adhering to SAGGA regulations.

  • Laminated glass must not stand in water; ensure proper drainage and sealing as per the Crealco Cleaning & Maintenance guidelines.

Gaskets and Seals

  • Utilizes 2 mm captive and wedge gaskets where glazing or cladding inserts are applied (W14108 Clip44 Bead Bevel).

  • All mechanical joints must be sealed with Crealco-approved joint sealer to prevent water ingress and galvanic corrosion.

  • Use anti-magnetic stainless steel screws and aluminium pop rivets to reduce electrolysis in harsh or coastal environments.

  • Ensure full perimeter sealing of frame joints as per installation specifications.

Finish

  • Profiles are extruded from architectural-grade aluminium and can be supplied in a range of finishes, including:

    • Natural anodised aluminium

    • Powder-coated colours (standard or custom to specification)

  • Coating and anodising are carried out in compliance with AAAMSA and SANS specifications.

  • For coastal applications, a marine-grade coating is recommended.

  • All surfaces should be cleaned periodically using non-abrasive detergents to maintain finish integrity and appearance.
